The most popular sports-activities for kids and young adults in Songdalen are football and handball. But also motorsports like trial, cross and go-kart are hugely popular. We can boast about five time Norwegian trial champion Mardon Moi being active in Songdalen.

In the spring we provide the local stage for UKM, a youth talent display, we throw a party for all citizens on Norway's national day May 17., and during autumn we hold a large multicultural party as well as a "Culture-fest" where a person or organization gets a prize for their contributions to culture in our county.
